Abstract

ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang: Masalah dalam menggunakan tata bahasa tidak dapat ditemukan hanya dalam bahasa lisan tetapi juga dalam bentuk tertulis serta kesulitan mahasiswa juga didasari dengan basic mereka yang tidak dari program studi bahasa inggris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tulisan masiswa dalam melaporkan masalah kesehatan oleh mahasiswa keperawatan ITEKES Bali.

Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain ex post facto, laporan tentang masalah kesehatan yang dialami pasien adalah instrumen penelitian dari penelitian ini, Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dan dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis kesalahan dari model Conder.

Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kesalahan yang dibuat oleh sampel kesalahan kata kerja kelompok yaitu 74 (51,04 %), 59 (40,68%) kesalahan penghubungan subjek – kata kerja, serta 12 (8,28%) kesalahan dalam penggunaan kata ganti.

Kesimpulan: kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah kesalahan yang dibuat oleh sampel dominan dalam kata kerja kelompok. Peneliti berharap hasil pemelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai umpan balik untuk memutuskan teknik maju dalam mengajar tata bahasa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa.

ABSTRACT

Background: Problems in using grammar cannot be found only in spoken language but also in written form. And the difficulties of students are also based on their basic not from English study programs. This study aims to analyze student writing in reporting health problems by ITEKES Bali nursing students.

Methods: This study employed an ex post facto design. Reporting on health problems experienced by patients were the research instruments of this study. This study employed a saturated sampling technique and was analyzed by using the error analysis method of the Conder model.

Results: Based on the results of research on errors made by a sample of group verb errors was 74 (51.04%), 59 (40.68%) errors connecting subject-verbs, and 12 (8.28%) errors in using pronouns.

Conclusion: The conclusion from the results of this study is an error made by a dominant sample in group verbs. Researchers hope that the results of this research can be used as feedback to decide on advanced techniques in teaching grammar to improve students' abilities.
